UPDATE:

Ahahaha. Oh you guys. Thanks for your comments so far, it's been really interesting to read them. :D The piece was done as a kind of copic-practice for me, which is why I wanted to finish with copics. I haven't done a lot of proper copic pieces, so it wasn't as easy matching the colours to the test, as much as I wanted it. orz

ok so from sketch 2 to 3, you did a photoshop version first (2), then did a traditional afterwards? (3), then combined the two? (4)

what's an ink+copic??? do you use computer for that? if you don't mind my asking.

Copics are a brand of colouring markers. Inking was done with a Copic liner pen, and colouring with the markers. :)
